Angilo Freeland (3406)

9/29/2006: An Antiguan national and, reputedly, a feared enforcer for drug cartels, Freeland was pulled over for speeding. He provided a false id. After officers called for backup, Freeland fled into the woods, shot and killed a pursuing K9 officer and his dog, and wounded another officer. This developed into an extensive 20-hour manhunt ending with Freeland killed when he was found. The answer given by the sheriff when asked why his department fired 110 bullets at Freeland, striking him 68 times: "That's all the bullets we had."
